Pool-Elec and the pool builder brief the client on the timeline of job.
Once the pool frame or shell has been dug and fit in place, the pool builder or Pool-Elec install the pool light cables to the equipment location. Pool-Elec completes earth bonding requirements to the shell at this point.
Pool-Elec connects power and data cabling requirements as necessary from customers switchboard and modem to the filtration equipment location.
If the filtration equipment is in position, we may be able to complete the connection at this time.
Earth bond cable provisions are installed prior to pavement slab being poured. This reinforces steel, conductive fencing, strip drains and any other conductive materials within the 1.25m touch zone from the water.
Whilst site visits are tailored to each job’s requirements, we typically allow for two site visits for final fit off.
During the first site visit we undertake the underground cabling and bonding earthing works, including installing power and data cabling to the filtration equipment location.
The second visit is to fit off filtration equipment, complete bonding earth works, test and commission. Pending pool builders requirements, programming filtration equipment and heat pumps can be completed at this stage.
When a swimming pool automation system is installed such as a Hayward Omnilogic or a Viron connect 10 system are installed, we can complete any additional programming work that the client of landscapers my require, such as landscape lighting, water features, security lighting, or any other light and power items that require a timer or to be switched on/off .
Pool-Elec will invoice the homeowner or pool builder as agreed over a series of up to 3 progress claims or as agreed.
